Utility surveyors

As a result of continued, successful growth over the last five years, and having recently been awarded a substantial contract to delivery utility arboricultural and vegetation management services across the Midlands, we are seeking to appoint qualified Utility Surveyors to join our Birmingham and Tipton contract with Western Power Distribution (WPD).

The successful candidates will conduct utility arboriculture surveying and consenting work in line with relevant industry guidelines and requirements.

We are looking to recruit staff who will bring enthusiasm, expertise and fresh ideas to the table, and those who are looking to further their arboricultural careers.

Candidates will ideally be authorised to work on the WPD network, complete with relevant UA qualifications: UA1, UA2.1, UA5.1 and UA5.2.  Any background in arboricultural surveying work is an advantage.

Desirable qualifications: Basic or Professional Tree Inspector, NRSWA and First Aid.

Candidates will need to be ready to fit into a professional yet friendly operation, with emphasis on quality rather than quantity, and fully buy into the requirements to maintain the very highest safety standards and ensure that customers and clients needs are at the forefront of all decisions and actions.
