The Opportunity

We are seeking a Fine Turf Groundsperson to work out of our Surrey Heath Contract. This is a permanent position and candidates will be working 40 hours per week.
The key responsibility of the Fine Turf Groundsperson are to maintain the Contracts Cricket Squares Golf and Sports Pitches to IOG Standards, reporting to the Contract Team Leader/Supervisor and Contract Manager on a daily basis.
Duties

Your duties will include: 

• carrying out all works required on a daily basis to comply with the Client Specification.
• Developing and maintaining effective communication with all client officers and sports clubs.
• Maintaining all machinery, vehicles and work equipment in good working order and to undertake other duties as may reasonably be required. 
• The post holders will be required to operate all pedestrian machinery required, you will also operate also ride-on mowers, and drive company vehicles/tow trailers. Therefore a full clean UK driving licence is required.
• Candidates will use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools and light plant equipment.
