The Opportunity

Primary objectives for the Food and Beverage Supervisor will be:

• To manage both day-to-day and event operations of the Bar and Kitchen in order to maximise business opportunities in line with the Food and Beverage Manager & General Managers direction 
• To Lead the Food and Beverage team that provides an exciting, healthy, innovative, quality food and beverage operation in order to increase demand whilst meeting customer needs.
• Assisting the F&B Manager & Golf Services Manager in All aspects of ordering, Staff Rotas organising and managing all event and function bookings
• Ensuring excellent presentation of food and beverages to the customer at all times.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Being aware of all Health and Safety issues, constantly implementing and assessing procedures, and drawing attention to any useful practices.
• Providing innovative ideas and initiating action to increase the usage of the Food and Beverage facilities.
• Ensure company financial regulations are adhered to in terms of sensitive data handling, PDQ reconciliation and invoice processing.
• Ensure staff understand and observe matters relating to licensing laws, weights and measure acts and company policies.
• To assist in the provision of staff training and development.
• To Assist the Management team when with required with all other aspects of the business 

The Person

Essential skills/qualifications:

• Hospitality or Restaurant Experience Essential 
• Strong Work Ethic and Positive Attitude
• Work efficiently with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work weekend events and provide flexibility.
• Excel in the motivation, training and supervision of staff 
• Productivity and forthcoming with new ideas and suggestions, to both increase operational efficiency and revenue 
• Strive to hit KPI’s and associated department targets
• Knowledge of health and safety, COSHH, HACCP and Food Hygiene.

Desirable skills/qualifications:

• Personal License 
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or Equivalent
• Previous Supervisory Experience in a similar environment 
• Driving License, Preferred but not essential
