Contract Supervisor

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

The business is seeking to appoint a Contract Supervisor to join our management team in Lee Valley. 

The Opportunity

This a great opportunity to work in the prestigious Lee Valley Regional Park, covering 26 miles from Broxbourne through to the Olympic Park in Stratford, based in Waltham Abbey Depot, Essex, the successful applicant will be a proactive individual who is able to identify and implement service improvements, and support the operational teams in delivering a high quality service to our clients.

Taking responsibility for the implementation of work planning systems on the contract, vehicle and machinery management and effective implementation of the company’s Health & Safety policy and associated procedures. The role will also require involvement in HR processes and helping to establish training programmes for employees. 

The Person

• The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of leading groups or small teams; you will have a direct working relationship with the Parks Ranger Service and ensure that the quality of the park is maintained to the highest standards throughout the year.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment. Enthusiasm, strong leadership skills, good communication skills and have a good understanding of IT systems.are essential, as are a full driving license
• The ideal candidate will be flexible in style and thinking with an open, friendly personality. They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team
• Supervising up to 20 people and reporting directly to the Contract Manager shall enable the right applicant to grow into the position while learning and understanding the intricacies of the park.
