This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

We are seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives based at our Enfield depot.  

The Opportunity

The role of Grounds Maintenance Operative at London Borough of Enfield is essential in the service provision for the maintenance of the highways and housing,  grass areas, horticultural features: shrub beds, hedges. This is a full time temporary position, working a 40-hour week.

You will report to the Contract Supervisor and Contract Manager/or the designated team leader on a daily basis. 

The successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals to undertake grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, litter picking and other tasks as required.  

The Person

• Adaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.

• Ideally have full, clean driving licence
• Previous experience of grounds maintenance work is preferred but full training will be given
• Applicants must be reliable and conscientious and will be required to work on their own initiative. 
• Experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable
