GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE (LEE VALLEY PARK), Waltham Abbey, Essex

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

The business is seeking to appoint 2 staff members. 

The Opportunity

This a great opportunity to work in the prestigious Lee Valley Regional Park, covering 26 miles from Broxbourne through to the Olympic Park in Stratford.  Based in our Waltham Abbey Depot, Essex, the successful applicant will be a proactive individual who has demonstrable experience in the grounds maintenance industry 

Reporting directly to the contract supervisor and / or designated team leader on a daily basis, this is a full time temporary position, Monday – Friday 45 hours per week, from March – October 2022.

The Person

• Must have experience within the grounds maintenance industry.
• Experience in the use of pedestrian &  handheld equipment are essential, Ride on machinery & PA1/PA6 are desirable.  
• Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment. Enthusiasm, good communication skills and a good understanding of health and safety are essential.
• Ideally have a full, clean driving licence 
• They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team
