Due to the unique nature and the diversity of works that are available within the Lewisham contract makeup, opportunities for career progression are available and encouraged to be taken up. This contract has adopted the London Living Wage.

Tractor driver (Full Time – Permanent following fixed term period)

(Working Hours : Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:00)

Duties will include grass cutting using cylinder, rotary gang mowers, and flail mowers.

Sports pitch maintenance including spiking, rolling, harrowing, seeding, top dressing, use of tractor mounted leaf collectors, front loaders and any other duties as required.

The sucessful candidate will also be responsiable for inspection, basic maintenance and cleaning of their machinery as well as  adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Working mainly on your own the sucessful candidate will be required to deliver tractor related operations to high standard, candidates should have a minimum of 6 months experience using tractors and a wide variety of tractor mounted and drawn implements as well as holding a full and clean UK driving licence. Excellent customer care and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential as well as working well using your own inititive as the role is mainly lone working due to the nature of the post.
