Having been set up in 1985 as a forestry, tree harvesting and consultancy business, Glendale’s service offering expanded following the Local Government Act 1988. The first ‘grounds maintenance’ contract with Rugby Borough Council was awarded to Glendale in 1990.
This was quickly followed with an arboriculture contract with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and a grounds maintenance contract with Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council. We are very proud of the fact that both of these contracts still run to this day.
